On Wednesday, May 5, Darrell Gwynn Foundation will unveil its education initiative “Think Twice: It Could Happen to You” at MAST Academy in Key Biscayne, FL.  More than 500 MAST students will learn how they can help prevent spinal cord injuries and paralysis. The program recently was adopted by Miami-Dade County Schools and is designed for implementation in all district high schools. 

Joining Darrell will be quadriplegic Ryan Gebauer, who is featured in the Foundation’s “It Could Happen To You” video and MAST junior Jeremy Capiro.  An athlete, Jeremy recently spent a school day in a wheelchair and will share a video chronicling his experience.
