Las Vegas, NV – (August 23, 2010) – Known primarily as a popular movie and TV actor, Patrick Dempsey is also an accomplished race car driver and team owner. Through a generous donation from longtime supporter Vince Amato, The Darrell Gwynn Foundation is excited to share that it will auction Dempsey’s 2005 Ford Mustang FR500C Race Car at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction September 23-25, 2010.

LEVI LAMB RECEIVES WHEELCHAIR FROM DARRELL GWYNN FOUNDATION
Dania Beach, FL – (August 14, 2010) – On Aug. 14, The Darrell Gwynn Foundation presented Okeechobee teen Levi Lamb with a brand new, custom-fitted camouflage wheelchair to replace his worn-out one. Levi received his chair from Darrell and the Foundation in front of 150 attendees of Bass Pro Shops' 2010 Fall Hunting Classic at the Dania Beach store.

The YearOne-Hot Rodders Children’s Charity Poker Tournament Benefiting The Darrell Gwynn Foundation was staged June 23 at the John Force Racing facility in Yorba Linda and raised $75,000 for our work.

More than 500 MAST students will learn how they can help prevent spinal cord injuries and paralysis. The program recently was adopted by Miami-Dade County Schools and is designed for implementation in all district high schools.
