Darrell Gwynn Foundation

SUPPORT

The Darrell Gwynn Foundation is dedicated to supporting programs that provide Awareness, Prevention, Support and Ultimately A Cure For Paralysis. The programs the foundation currently operates are the Wheelchair Donation Program, Patient Assitance Fund and Fast Track Laboratories.

The Darrell Gwynn Foundation's Wheelchair Donation Program has been providing customized wheelchairs to children and young adults in need across the country since 2002. The program was started to fulfill the Foundation’s mission to improve the quality of life for those afflicted with paralysis from injury or illness.

At Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado, one of the premier rehabilitation hospitals for patients with spinal cord injuries, and the Darrell Gwynn Foundation have teamed up and we are proud to support their mission by funding the Darrell Gwynn Foundation's Patient Assitance Fund. The Darrell Gwynn Foundation’s Patient Assitance Fund also supports Speediatrics, two very unique pediatric units in the state of Florida – The Betty Jane France Pediatric Center, at Halifax Hospital in Daytona, FL and Homestead Hospital in Homestead, FL. The Darrell Gwynn Foundation is proud to support their continued work with children across the state of Florida.

The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, the world's largest comprehensive spinal cord injury (SCI) research center, and the Darrell Gwynn Foundation have a longstanding relationship and we are proud to support the Darrell Gwynn Foundation’s Fast Track Laboratory for Neuroprotection Studies and the Male Fertility Program.
