Mark your calendars for the YearOne and Hot Rodders Children’s Charity Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. All proceeds will benefit the Darrell Gwynn Foundation! The charity poker tournament will be held at the John Force Racing Facility in Yorba Linda, California. There are only 75 coveted spots open, with $1,000 per player buy-in. Prizes will be awarded to the top four winners of the tournament, with the first place winner receiving a brand new small block crate engine as the grand prize.
In addition to the Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament, the event will feature a silent auction of a variety of unique items, also to benefit the Darrell Gwynn Foundation.
Hot Rodders Children’s Charity has partnered with the Darrell Gwynn Foundation, with their primary mission to improve the lives of children. By harnessing the enthusiasm and altruism of the automotive enthusiast community, Hot Rodders Children’s Charity raises funds and awareness for a multitude of children’s causes. While many charitable organizations focus on a specific need or group, the Hot Rodders Children’s Charity aligns with a variety of local and national organizations such as Darrell Gwynn Foundation to effect positive change in the lives of many different children with many different needs.
YearOne was founded on the desire to preserve and enjoy special automobiles, and to provide like-minded people with a single source for product parts, services, accessories and information on specialty cars.
