The Darrell Gwynn Foundation is dedicated to supporting people with paralysis by giving the gift of mobility and assisting patients recovering from spinal cord injuries.
The Darrell Gwynn Foundation's Wheelchair Donation Program has been providing customized wheelchairs to children and young adults in need across the country since 2002. The program donates custom power wheelchairs to individuals facing medical and financial hardships.
At Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado, one of the premier rehabilitation hospitals for patients with spinal cord injuries, and the Darrell Gwynn Foundation have teamed up and we are proud to support their mission by funding the Darrell Gwynn Foundation's Patient Assistance Fund. The Darrell Gwynn Foundation’s Patient Assistance Fund also supports Speediatrics, two very unique pediatric units in the state of Florida - The Betty Jane France Pediatric Center, at Halifax Hospital in Daytona, FL and Homestead Hospital in Homestead, FL. Additionally, The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, the world's largest comprehensive spinal cord injury (SCI) research center, and the Darrell Gwynn Foundation have a longstanding relationship and we are proud to support the Darrell Gwynn Foundation’s Fast Track Laboratory for Neuroprotection Studies and the Male Fertility Program through our Patient Assistance Fund.
